## The Hook

CodeGraph is the local AST knowledge graph that hands agents surgical call-graph context instead of another grep loop.

## What's Good

MIT. 100% local SQLite graph with Rust kernel, MCP + CLI, auto-sync on save. Callers/callees, impact radius, framework routes. Works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and friends.

## The Catch

Index cost and residual context occupancy are real. Not a hosted SaaS brain. Distinct from Repomix/Gitingest (pack text) and Aider (edit loop).

## Verdict

MIT local code graph for agents. Free forever; packers are the text cousins.
