MIT outside enterprise/. Live chat, email, WhatsApp, social. Self-hosted Community Edition is 0 USD/agent/month, free forever — that is the free path. Cloud Hacker is 0 USD/agent, up to 2 agents, 500 conversations/month, live chat only, 30-day retention.

## The Catch

SSO, roles, Captain AI, and voice live in paid/enterprise directories — MIT does not cover enterprise/. Cloud paid plans also lead with a 15-day trial. Hacker is live-chat-only.

## Verdict

The MIT-core inbox. Self-host is the free forever path; Cloud Hacker is a cap, not a product.
