## The Hook

Agno is the Phidata rebrand: a fast Python agent SDK with an AgentOS runtime you can actually serve.

## What's Good

Apache-2.0. Build agents/teams/workflows in the Agno SDK, run them as a FastAPI AgentOS service (sessions, memory, tracing, optional MCP/A2A interfaces), manage via Control Plane. Model-agnostic toolkits; self-host the stack. Phidata is archived—this is the live line.

## The Catch

Vs LangGraph (graphs), CrewAI (roles), Mastra (TypeScript): Agno is Python performance + AgentOS productization, not a coding CLI like Claude Code/OpenCode. Phidata docs/imports are dead—use Agno. Control Plane and hosted conveniences are optional; day-one is OSS SDK+runtime you operate.

## Verdict

Apache-2.0 Python agents + AgentOS. Ship on Agno, not Phidata nostalgia.
