## The Hook

Agent-MCP is an MCP-native multi-agent collaboration stack: specialized agents share a persistent knowledge graph, task board, and live visualization instead of one overflowing chat.

## What's Good

AGPL-3.0 per LICENSE/README (rinadelph/Agent-MCP). Parallel agents, searchable memory bank, dashboard/fleet views, Python server path with MCP tooling. Aimed at coordinated software work where context must survive across agents and sessions.

## The Catch

Vs CrewAI and AG2: this is MCP-native multi-agent + shared graph for coding workflows, not a general role-orchestration framework alone. LICENSE/README are AGPL-3.0 while pyproject (and node metadata) still claim MIT — metadata conflict; treat AGPL as authoritative until packaging is fixed. Last push 2026-03-28; typical path expects an OpenAI key.

## Verdict

AGPL MCP multi-agent graph when you need shared project memory across agents and can live with copyleft plus stale packaging metadata.
